1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MelodyBolt's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

MelodyBolt provides AI-generated personalized song creation services. Users provide story details and preferences, and we create custom songs using artificial intelligence technology.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating orders
• Not use our service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not submit content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on others' rights
• Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt our services

4. Payment and Pricing

Song previews are provided free of charge. Full song access requires payment at the listed price. Payments are processed securely through Stripe or, where available, via cryptocurrency through NOWPayments. Prices are displayed in GBP or USD depending on your location and may be subject to change.

5. Refund Policy

Since you can preview your song before purchasing, we generally do not offer refunds for completed purchases. However, if there is a technical issue with your song delivery, please contact us and we will work to resolve it.

6. Intellectual Property

MelodyBolt retains all intellectual property rights, including commercial rights, to all songs created on the platform. This includes but is not limited to master recording rights, publishing rights, and distribution rights.

Upon purchase, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use your custom song for personal, non-commercial purposes. This includes:

• Playing at personal events and celebrations
• Sharing with friends and family
• Posting on personal social media

Where you opt in to streaming distribution, your song may be distributed on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and other digital service providers. By opting in, you consent to the song — including any names and personal details contained within — being made publicly available. MelodyBolt retains all rights to such distributed content and all revenue from streaming and distribution belongs to MelodyBolt. MelodyBolt chooses how songs are credited, including the use of artist personas.

Songs where distribution has not been opted into will not be published or used commercially. MelodyBolt may still use anonymised or non-identifying excerpts for promotional purposes.

Commercial use, resale, or redistribution of songs by the customer is not permitted without explicit written permission from MelodyBolt.

7. AI-Generated Content

Songs are generated using AI technology. While we strive for quality, the nature of AI means results may vary. We do not guarantee that songs will be free from errors or meet specific expectations beyond what is heard in the preview.

8. Data Retention and File Deletion

Unpaid song previews and associated files are automatically deleted 7 days after creation. You will receive a warning email before deletion occurs. Once files are deleted, they cannot be recovered. Paid songs are retained for a reasonable period but MelodyBolt does not guarantee indefinite storage.

9. Limitation of Liability

MelodyBolt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time with reasonable notice when possible.

11. Privacy

Your use of MelodyBolt is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
